Clouds and storms back in the forecast

Overview:  The sunshine didn’t last long, cloud cover moved in overnight and a cold front moves will move through the Bluegrass Wednesday afternoon. The frontal boundary will bring increasing chances of showers and thunderstorms and a return of muggy conditions. Some wrap around showers will still be possible Thursday until sunny skies finally return Friday.

TODAY: Cloudy skies develop, with rain showers and thunderstorms develop mainly for the afternoon and evening hours, with a mild high temperature of 73 degrees.

TONIGHT: Scattered rain showers linger, with an overnight low temperature of 57 degrees.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers possible but mainly for northeastern Kentucky and eastern Kentucky, with a mild high of 68 degrees.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies and a chilly overnight low of 49 degrees.



FRIDAY (FLAG DAY): Mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures develop, with a high temperature of 75 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 58 degrees.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures develop, with a high temperature of 85 degrees. A few isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop, with a low of 69 degrees.

FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY: Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms likely to develop, with a warm high temperature of 84 degrees.
