LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Laurel County woman is facing drug charges after deputies found a large amount of meth stashed inside a child’s playhouse.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a drug complaint at a home on KY 1223 near London Sunday night.
Deputies say almost three pounds of meth, firearms, loaded and unloaded syringes and a large sum of cash were found inside a playhouse.
They say four children had easy access to the playhouse.
Deputies arrested 63-year-old Patsy Hopkins, of Corbin.
She is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, and wanton endangerment.
