More showers and storms with flash flood still possible

0

Overview:  A stationary front coupled with gulf moisture has equaled the perfect mixture for slow moving rain showers across the Bluegrass. This combination will continue tonight with a few thunderstorms possible. Sunday’s showers will be more scattered but still heavy at times primarily in the afternoon hours. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for all of central and most of eastern Kentucky through the weekend.

TONIGHT: Rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible, with a low temperature of 68 degrees.
