MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that a portion of Interstate 75 northbound and southbound at milepoints 48.0-50.2 in Laurel County will be reduced to one lane beginning this evening, and is expected to end Friday, May 31.
The lane closures are necessary for contractors to perform crack-sealing operations. The closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expected delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date and time could be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
