LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says alternating lane closures will take place on KY 1267/Keene Troy Pike in Jessamine County.
The closures will take place on Thursday, May 23, Friday, May 24, Tuesday, and May 28 to May 31. The closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
A contractor for KYTC will perform a resurfacing project on KY 1267 from the Woodford-Jessamine county line to Delaney Ferry Road.
Drivers should expect delays and avoid the route if possible.
KYTC says that when approaching and traveling through the work zone, drivers should slow down and use extra caution.
