Police: Man shot, arrested after shooting in Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating a shooting in Danville that led to one man getting shot and arrested.

According to Danville Police, 41 year-old Michael Hicks was in an argument with his stepfather.

Hicks is accused of making several threats against his stepfather, mother, and a teenager.

When Hicks tried to move towards them, the stepfather fired three shots that hit hicks twice, one on the right arm and another grazed his ear.

He was taken to a hospital in Danville and later taken to the Boyle County Detention Center.

He’s charged with Menacing and Terroristic Threatening.

Danville Police say the investigation is ongoing. The case will be presented to the Boyle County Grand Jury.
