FBI offering reward in Officer Jason Ellis investigation


BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – The FBI is now offering a $50,000 reward for information in the investigation of a murdered Bardstown Police Officer.

The FBI says Officer Jason Ellis was killed after finishing his shift on May 25, 2013.

While he was driving home, Ellis encountered debris which had been placed on an exit ramp.

While removing the debris, he was shot and killed.

An arrest has not been made in this case.
