LEGO Convention coming to Lexington


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – For the first time ever, Lexington will host the BrickUniverse LEGO Fan Convention.

The event will be held at the Lexington Convention Center July 27-28.

The convention will feature a building zone with thousands of bricks for participants to construct LEGO structures. There will also be a Big Brick Building zone with Duplo bricks geared to young visitors.

Professional LEGO artists will also be at the event, including Jonathan Lopes, who will be bringing a 30-piece installment from San Diego, California, and Rocco Buttliere will be bringing over 50 massive LEGO models of famous landmarks from around the world.
