LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival is set for May 17-19th at Masterson Station Park.
Sarabeth Parido, the director of the festival, says it’s for the whole family, “Anything with fiber will be there.”
Parido says they partnered with Lexington Parks and Recreation and the Kentucky Sheep and Goat Association to put on the event, now in its 10th year.
The festival will showcase animals, demonstrations, workshops, and include more than 100 vendors.
Parido says it’s about raising awareness, “There are people that see the yarn, the finished aspect, and they don’t necessarily know how it comes about.”
