LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Wildlife Center held a shower for wild animals that can’t be released back into their natural habitat.
The wildlife center took donations such as baby blankets, stuffed animals, heating pads, and paper towels.
Those who attended got to see the animals up close and learn about them.
“We are so grateful for our community. When we tell our community we need anything, they’re right there at the door ready to help us out,” said Sam Opp, Wildlife Center Director.
If you want to help these animals, you can still bring donations to the center.
