Hiker carried out of Red River Gorge


WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A hiker was carried out of the Red River Gorge after suffering from heart problems.

The Wolfe County search and rescue team says team members carried the hiker about three miles to an ambulance from Hanson’s Point.

There was an attempt to fly the hiker by helicopter but rescue crews weren’t able to because of bad weather coming in.
