Lewis was 18 and a senior at Mercer County high school.

“I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the death of one of our seniors. He and another student were in a car wreck Saturday morning on their way to a National Guard Drill. The other student involved in the accident is in stable condition,” said Dennis Davis, Mercer County Schools Superintendent.
