LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic is scheduled for Thursday, May 9, at Douglass Park in Lexington.
The park is located at 726 Georgetown Street.
The clinic will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Pets can get a three-year rabies vaccination for $3.
Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control (LFACC) will also offer city licenses, which are required to keep pets legal.
Pet owners can receive an additional discount on any license by bringing proof that the animal is spay/neutered.
Microchips will be available for $15 during the event.
Coupons will be distributed for discounted vaccine boosters, which can be redeemed at LFACC at a later date.
All dogs brought to the event must be on a leash and all cats/ferrets must be in a carrier.
The Rabies Clinic is put on by Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control in partnership with the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department.
