WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Bowling Green woman was injured in a single vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon, that caused her car to catch fire, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 21-year-old Ashley Key was driving west on Richpond Rockfield Road when she dropped off the shoulder of the road, causing her to overcorrect and leave the left side of the road. Key struck a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire, according to deputies.
The sheriff’s office reports Key was able to get out of the vehicle and away from the fire. She was transported by Medical Center EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
