Overview: High pressure is in control of our weather across the Bluegrass providing clearing skies and calm winds today and into the first half of the week. Expect temperatures to stay on the cool side during the evening hours and warm up fairly quickly during the day. Rain showers return to the forecast Tuesday afternoon and linger across the region much of the week.
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies develop and warmer weather moves in, high of 76 degrees.
MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 55 degrees. Be sure to check out the Lyrids Meteor Shower, up to 20 meteors per hour will be possible.
TUESDAY: Sunny skies expected followed by rain showers developing in the afternoon hours, with a warm high of 80 degrees

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies develop, with a few rain showers and a high temperature of 68 degrees.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures continue, with the chance for scattered rain showers. Thursday afternoon high temperatures will be around 73 degrees.
