Gradual warming and clearing for Easter Sunday

Overview: Chilly temperatures will stick around tonight along with some chances of lingering scattered rain showers. Easter Sunday will feature a movement towards more sunshine and mild temperatures as high pressure becomes a feature of our forecast. Temperatures get back into the mid to upper 70s for early next week, with scattered rain possible by late next week.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and cold temperatures develop, with a low of 40 degrees. A few spotty rain showers will be possible.

EASTER SUNDAY: Gradually clearing throughout the day, becoming mostly sunny skies and pleasant weather develops for Easter Sunday, with a mild high temperature of 64 degrees. A few stray rain showers could linger across Eastern Kentucky early Sunday morning.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies and cool temperatures develop, with an overnight low of 45 degrees.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny skies develop and warmer weather moves in, high of 76 degrees.



MONDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 55 degrees.

TUESDAY: Sunny skies expected, with a warm high of 80 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 59 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies develop, with a few rain showers and a high temperature of 78 degrees.
