Rainy and chilly Saturday, yet drier for Easter Sunday

Overview:  Chilly temperatures and scattered rain continue for Saturday, with a high of only 47 degrees. Easter Sunday will feature more sunshine and mild temperatures around 65 degrees. Temperatures get back into the mid to upper 70s for early next week, with scattered rain possible by late next week.

TONIGHT: Cloudy skies and lingering rain showers continue, with a cold low of 40 degrees.

SATURDAY: Chilly temperatures and scattered rain showers linger for Saturday, with a high temperature of 47 degrees. Even some snowflakes or ice pellets may mix in with the rain at times on Saturday.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and cold temperatures develop, with a low of 39 degrees. A few spotty rain showers will be possible.

EASTER SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies and pleasant weather develops for Easter Sunday, with a mild high temperature of 65 degrees. A few stray rain showers could linger across Eastern Kentucky early Sunday morning.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with an overnight low of 48 degrees.

MONDAY:  Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies develop, with a few isolated rain showers, and a warm high of 77 degrees.

MONDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 56 degrees.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy skies and isolated rain showers are possible, with a warm high of 79 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 58 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies develop, with a few rain showers and a high temperature of 76 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 56 degrees.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures continue, with the chance for scattered rain showers. Thursday afternoon high temperatures will be around 74 degrees.
