Overview: A very powerful storm system in Texas is making its move to the northeast tonight. This system will bring with it a threat of severe weather both in the morning and again later afternoon on Sunday. We can expect strong gusty winds, torrential downpours, frequent lightening and some small hail with the thunderstorms. As the storm system moves east, cooler and drier air will greet us for the beginning of the work week.
Tonight: Showers and a few thunderstorms likely after midnight. Expect temperatures to drop into the middle 50s.
Sunday: Showers and strong thunderstorms possible, breezy with temperatures in the low to middle 70s.
Monday: Becoming partly cloudy and cooler with temperatures topping out around 60.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with temperatures warming into the middle 70s.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy and pleasant with temperatures in the middle 70s.
Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms possible with highs in the middle 70s.
Friday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a few showers. Afternoon temperatures will top out in the lower 60s.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a slight chance of a few showers. It will be a bit cool with highs in the low to mid 60s.
