LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Fayette County jury says a well-known caterer and restaurant owner is not guilty of one of two charges against him.
Willie Love Talley was arrested in June of 2018 after a 17-year old girl who worked for him at his restaurant, Talley’s BBQ in Lexington, accused him of kissing and fondling her under her clothes in a storage closet at the restaurant.
He was charged with third-degree sexual abuse and taking pictures of a minor without consent.
On Wednesday, a jury came back with a not-guilty verdict on the charge of taking pictures without consent.
Talley is on the Kentucky sex offender registry, which makes it illegal for him to take pictures of minors.
Talley will face a separate trial on the sexual abuse charge on April 16.
He has denied any wrongdoing.
