Police investigating shooting in Lexington


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-Police in Lexington are investigating a shooting.

Officers say they were called to Bolivar and South Upper Streets near the University of Kentucky’s campus around 2 a.m. Sunday.

According to officers, shots were fired between two groups of people.

Later, a man showed up at the hospital with a gun shot wound.

Officers say they talked to him and learned he was shot as part of that fight.

Police say, as of Sunday, he was in stable condition.
