Decreasing clouds, cool Tuesday

Overview:  Cold start again to the day with freeze warnings for much of eastern Kentucky. After mostly cloudy skies to start off the day, we should have more breaks of sunshine into Tuesday afternoon, with a cool high of 57 degrees.  A few isolated rain showers will be possible in Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday. Milder temperatures return Wednesday through Friday, with highs in the mid to upper 60s. A few rain showers will be possible late Thursday, with scattered rain possible into Friday. The weekend will feature highs in the low to mid 70s, with a few isolated rain showers possible.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies and cold temperatures develop, with a low of 39 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures develop, with a high of 66 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures develop, with a low of 47 degrees.



THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures develop for Thursday, with a high of 67 degrees. Thursday is opening day for Keeneland’s spring meet, so overall it looks to be beautiful weather. A few isolated rain showers may develop late in the day on Thursday.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers are possible, with a low of 53 degrees.

FRIDAY: Scattered rain showers will be possible for Friday, with a mild high temperature of 68 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop, with a low of 54 degrees.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and a stray shower is possible, with a warmer high temperature of 74 degrees.
