Monday starts frosty with sunshine and cool temps this afternoon

Overview: A hard freeze falls over much of central Kentucky Monday morning as temperatures struggle to emerge from the freezing mark. A well below freezing start to the day will turn into below average high temperatures later in the afternoon. Sunshine later on doesn’t do much to heat up central Kentucky with highs in the upper 40s, some in the low 50s.

TODAY: Mostly sunny with a high around 50 degrees.
