LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that temporary lane closures are scheduled for Interstate 64 westbound.
KYTC says the closures are necessary for sewer line replacement for the Woodford County rest areas. The east and westbound rest areas are located on Interstate 64 between milepoints 60.2 and 60.7. A renovation project began in January for both facilities.
These closures will take place Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, from 7:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
KYTC says that the right and middle lanes on I-64 westbound will be closed between mile marker 60 and 58. The left lane will remain open.
The rest areas on I-64 east and west between mile marker 60.2 and 60.7 will be closed, except for semi-truck drivers.
