RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The deaths of two people who were found in Madison County in February, after being reported missing, were accidental, according to a report in the Richmond Register.
In early February, 26-year old Amanda Bailey, of Winchester, was found dead off of Concord Road near Camp Catalpa. She had been missing for several days. The state medical examiner found she had no injuries, but that cold weather was a factor in her accidental death, according to the newspaper report.
In a separate case, 39-year old Sinclair Lamont Johnson, of Richmond, was found dead in a field near Concord Road several days after disappearing in the area. State Police say he was a suspect in a theft case and when Richmond Police tried to pull him over, he led officers on a chase, wrecked his vehicle and escaped by running from the scene.
The state medical examiner says cold weather was a factor in Johnson’s accidental death, according to the report.
