CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – State police say seven-year-old Cormac Morris recently hit his five-year mark being cancer free. He will now be classified as a survivor.
Trooper Steven Dykes helped arrange a surprise after Cormac got off the bus from school.
Cormac wants to be a police officer when he grows up, and KSP gave him a tour of a police station and let him test out some equipment.
Cormac has been cancer free since completing chemo at age two. KSP says the chemo caused him to lose hearing. He now uses hearing aids to help.
