WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say Jesse Atwood was found in Winchester Saturday Morning.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing man who has dementia and COPD.

Jesse Atwood, 82, was last seen around 7:45 p.m. Friday while visiting a home in the Hartland Parkway area of Lexington.

According to police, family members think he could be trying to go back home to Liberty, Kentucky.

Police say Atwood was driving a blue 2007 Ford Focus with Kentucky license plate 898 YBX.

He is about 5’ 8” and 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Officers say Atwood was wearing plaid sweat pants and a burgundy shirt with blue long sleeves.

Police say they’re concerned for Atwood’s safety.

He doesn’t have oxygen tanks and his family members don’t let him drive.
