Gusty, warm, and wet Thursday

Overview:  Leave the winter coats at home today, but grab your umbrella. Gusty winds coming up this morning and afternoon. A warming trend continues through Thursday, with rain chances increasing into Thursday as well. Cooler temperatures return for the weekend and early next week. Temperatures get back into the upper 60s for Wednesday, with lower 70s expected by Thursday.  Upper 40s to lower 50s return Friday into early next week.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms are possible, with a mild afternoon high of 73 degrees. Gusty winds around 40 to 45 mph will be possible, making for a windy day. A few afternoon and evening thunderstorms could become strong to severe, with damaging winds the main threat.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Rain showers linger and chilly temperatures develop, with a low of 47 degrees.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies and a few rain showers will be possible, with a high of 53 degrees.
