LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – For many people, the Sweet Sixteen tournament is all about watching basketball.

For other people, it’s all about serving the basketball fans.

Jerry Frost has been working the concession stand for 13 years and does it because he loves the atmosphere.

“I love it, it’s good,” said Jerry Frost.

From Frost’s experience, he says the most popular items on the menu include water, popcorn, and hot dogs.

The supervisor says they will start with 300 boxes of popcorn and will serve hundreds of hot dogs.

“Everybody comes to Rupp Arena for a hot dog. So, we’ll do depending on what teams there are, we’ll do between 400 and 600 hot dogs,” said Gary Anderson, Supervisor.

Behind each concession counter, there will be 20-30 employees ready for the pregame and halftime rush.
