London Police gets new lieutenant


LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ)-  London Police Chief Darrel Kilburn has named Jessie Williams as the Department’s new Lieutenant. Lt. Williams will be in command of investigations.

He began his career in law enforcement in 2004 with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Dept. In 2007 he began working for the London Police Dept., was promoted to Sergeant in 2011, and was assigned to work as a Detective in 2017.

While upholding the Department’s mission to provide protection and service to the citizens of London, Lt. Williams says he holds the upmost respect for the officers he works with and is proud that London employs the best police officers in Kentucky.
