POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Powell County Office of Public Information says that with the recent flooding behind them, they are trying to assess the damaged locations in the community.
They say they are working quickly as possible to get repairs done as quickly as possible. They have filed necessary paperwork with the Powell County Fiscal Court for disaster assistance.
The department says they estimate more than $300,000 in road repairs, in the county alone.
They say that for those who have affected property, or need to report issues within the city limits of Stanton or Clay City, contact your local city office with these concerns, and Emergency Management will work with city government to see that these issues are addressed.
