GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Georgetown Police Department and Scott County Sheriff’s Office will go head-to-head in an exhibition basketball game, where proceeds go to wounded Sheriff’s Deputy Jamie Morales to help pay for his new home.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd. This game is part of a youth basketball tournament that is happening Saturday and Sunday at Royal Spring Middle School in Georgetown.
The Scott County kids choir will sing the national anthem, and Scott County jrROTC will present colors.
There will also be special guest referees, silent auction, bake sale, concessions, and a half-time 3-point contest.
