The McKinney Water District in Lincoln County announced Thursday it has lifted a boil water advisory for the following areas:

-Naylor Ridge

-Martins Trail (from Blue Lick Road to Naylor Ridge Road)



-Blue Lick Road (from Martins Trail to Pipeline Hill)

STANFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Boil Water Advisory was issued for some customers in the McKinney Water District in Lincoln County Sunday afternoon.

Due to a water line break, customers in the following areas are under the advisory until further notice:

-McKinney Ridge

-Naylor Ridge

-Martins Trail (from Blue Lick Road to Naylor Ridge Road)

-Blue Lick Road (from Martins Trail to Pipeline Hill)

The advisory affects an estimated 50 customers.  All affected customers should boil tap water to be used for cooking, drinking and ice for at least three minutes until further notice.
