LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police say a man previously connected to a Lexington killing is now charged with murder, along with another man.
Lexington Police say James Ragland II was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Detroit this week, accused of killing Iesha Edwards in Lexington in January.
Police say the man who was previously charged with helping Ragland escape from Lexington is now facing a murder charge.
According to police, Gaige Phillips was already in custody, accused of helping Ragland escape after the shooting.
But according to new court documents, Phillips assisted Ragland in the killing of Iesha Edwards.
Phillips will appear in court on the murder charge Friday morning.
He is being held on a one-million dollar bond.
