HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police say a shots fired complaint turned into a pursuit just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
KSP says they were called to 18th Street in Hopkinsville for a shots fired call, when they saw a black SUV turning onto Walnut Street with no headlights or taillights.
Troopers say they activated emergency equipment to stop the SUV, but the vehicle drove off and continued down several streets before going off the road near a cemetery on Moore’s Drive. They say the SUV slid down an embankment, wrecking into a wood line.
Troopers believe the driver gave them a false name. Through investigation, the driver was identified as 61-year-old Creadle Hubbard.
KSP says Hubbard was wearing a ballistic vest, and was in possession of multiple firearms.
Hubbard was also served two warrants, one of which had been obtained by the U.S. Marshals.
