GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Search efforts started up again this weekend to find missing Richmond mother, Savannah Spurlock.
The new search and rescue team, Texas Equusearch Midwest Chapter is in Kentucky to help find Spurlock.
Their search started in areas of Garrard County Saturday morning and they asked for volunteers to help.
The snow had some impact on the search and they were not able use ATV’s or drones.
Instead, they had nearly 80 volunteers searching by foot.
“Say whatever, everybody’s got their opinions but it don’t matter, she’s still human, and she’s still a mother, and she needs to come home,” said Paige Waldridge, Volunteer.
The Texas Equusearch organizer said they did not find Spurlock.
Their team will meet and get a plan together another search.
Spurlock has been missing for about six weeks.
