LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Crews will be working to clear a gas line along a major roadway in Fayette County Saturday.
It’s part of the New Circle Road widening project in Lexington.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, crews with Columbia Gas will be working to clear the gas line on the outer loop of New Circle Road between Georgetown Road and Newtown Pike on Saturday, February 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The cabinet says there will be no lane or road blockages while the work is being done but does say people driving or living in the area could notice an odor of natural gas.
Emergency personnel will be on standby during the procedure.
Anyone with questions or concerns can call Columbia Gas at 1-(800)432-9515.
