Police: Man found with explosives and meth


LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lawrenceburg find explosives and methamphetamine during an arrest Wednesday.

The Lawrenceburg Police Department says a man sleeping discovered sleeping inside a stolen truck in the driveway of a home on Old Jose Road.

When officers searched inside the truck, they say they found nine blasting caps, 28 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded .22 pistol and digital weight scales.

The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with the Kentucky State Police Bomb Squad, were called in and collected the explosives.

Officers say they also found a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle at the home.

Police charged Waylon Grigsby with wanton endangerment of a police officer, receiving stolen property and trafficking in controlled substance.
