BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Berea man came home to find an unexpected visitor in his home, according to police.
The Berea Police Department says on Friday, they received a call from a man, saying he left his home briefly, came back and found a man he didn’t know sitting on his couch.
Police say 31-year-old Michael Whitt, of Berea, got into the home through the unlocked front door.
Officers say Whitt showed signs of impairment and had marijuana on him when he was arrested.
Whitt is charged with criminal trespassing, public intoxication, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.
