Overview:  Frigid conditions settling in as arctic air moves into Kentucky, staying through Wednesday and Thursday. There is a Wind Chill Advisory in effect for early Wednesday, with -10 to -20 degree wind chills possible. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through Wednesday morning, with a trace to 1″+ snowfall possible, which may lead to slick roads and surfaces.

TODAY: High of 14 degrees with temperatures falling throughout the day. After morning snow flurries and light snow showers, we expect afternoon sunshine and gusty winds over 30 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and bitterly cold temperatures develop, with a low of 1 degree, and wind chills around -10 degrees possible.

THURSDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies develop, with a few snow flurries, and high temperatures only reaching 24 degrees.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Snow showers to a rain-snow mix will be possible, with overnight low temperatures around 21 degrees.



FRIDAY: A rain-snow mix will be possible, with high temperatures around 37 degrees. Right now, it looks like we will see snow during the morning hours, with a transition to rain for Friday afternoon.
