Humane Society and PETA offering reward for information on Mercer Co. dog abuse


MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Humane Society of the United States and PETA are each offering a $5,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for abusing two dogs in Mercer County.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on December 16, 2018 about two dogs found beaten, with their legs tied and their muzzles duct-taped, near the intersection of Bohon and Grapevine Roads.

Both dogs were suffering from severe injuries.
