Traffic stop in Oklahoma nets thousands of pounds of marijuana


PAWHUSKA, Ok. (WTVQ) – Oklahoma authorities pull over a semi truck hauling thousands of pounds of marijuana.

The driver of the truck ran a red light and was stopped by officers.

Inside the truck, they say they discovered 18,000 pounds of marijuana.

Four people were arrested.

Police say they claimed they were transporting industrial hemp but didn’t have valid documents.

Officials believe they were traveling from Kentucky to Colorado.

All four are charged with aggravated trafficking.
