CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Clark County school district faces a federal lawsuit from the father of a 12-year-old-girl.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports the girl was strip-searched at Roy D. Campbell Junior High.
According to the report, the suit says the girl was called to the counseling office and told to strip-down to her underwear so a counselor and an assistant principal could search her.
The paper does not say why the girl was searched.
Her father is seeking undisclosed damages and compensation saying his daughter’s rights were violated, according to the report.
