FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)— In less than two months, state Rep. Rocky Adkins raised $621,567 for his race for Kentucky governor.
Adkins announced his candidacy for governor on Nov. 14, a week after election day and halfway through the reporting period. Adkins waited to enter the race because he believed it was important to focus on races in the 2018 election cycle.
Adkins serves as state representative for the 99th District in Elliott, Lewis and Rowan counties. He has served as Majority Floor Leader and currently serves as Minority Floor Leader.
