Man Faces Federal Charges For Bank Robberies

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ): A man from Hazard is facing federal charges for two bank robberies.

The Herald Leader reports 52 year old, Robert Terry, was formally charged Thursday for robberies at Hyden Citizens Bank in May and at First National Bank of Manchester in June.

According to the paper, Terry Stole more than nineteen-thousand dollars.

An affidavit from the FBI says Terry admitted to robbing the bank in Manchester because he was a drug addict and needed money to buy drugs.
