Driver arrested after hitting parked cars at Lexington middle school


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Friday, Lexington police arrested a driver who’s accused of crashing into parked cars at a middle school, but that isn’t what he was arrested for.

Police say the suspect had a warrant on unrelated charges that officers found when they checked his license.

According to officers, he was driving inbound on Leestown Road when he lost control and hit two or three cars in the parking lot of Leestown Middle School.

Officers aren’t sure why he lost control. They say they don’t think he was impaired.
