LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In a new documentary, Kentucky Wildcats TV follows a football player through his journey to get back on the field.
Last summer, University of Kentucky football player Josh Paschal was diagnosed with an aggressive melanoma on the bottom of his foot.
Paschal sat out much of the season and underwent multiple surgeries at the UK Markey Cancer Center where he continues to receive monthly immunotherapy treatments.
Paschal returned to play in November and started 2019 on a high note with UK’s Citrus Bowl win over Penn State on New Year’s Day.
The new documentary, released over the holidays, showcases Paschal’s journey to get back on the field.
