After a beautiful Saturday a low pressure system moving from Arkansas gathers up with a frontal boundary and moves quickly through Kentucky. Rain showers will be likely during the daytime hours Sunday with a majority of the moisture already out of the region by the afternoon and evening hours.
Threats: Rain Showers will be light to moderate no flooding is expected.
Things settle down on Monday with mostly sunny skies but temperatures still in the low 40s. As for Christmas, models are still a bit up in the air, but could see some sprinkles otherwise mostly sunny. Weather will remain calm until the end of the week when Thursday brings another potentially super soaker of a system to the Bluegrass.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies; low temperature of 30 degrees.
SUNDAY: Expect mostly cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers during the day; high temperatures for your Sunday will be 42 degrees.
