The rain showers will continue to move from west to east for your Friday. Light rain showers will still be possible all day with a greater chance in eastern Kentucky. Expect mostly cloudy skies and a blustery north wind with gusts up to 35 MPH or higher at times. Saturday we will start the day on a cloudy note but become partly sunny as high pressure builds in.
Threats: Rain Showers will be light with heavier rain fall amounts sticking around eastern Kentucky.
Things settle down on Saturday with partly sunny skies. A quick shot of a brief rain/snow mix will be possible Sunday but nothing too concerning. Another chance of rain comes on Christmas with spot rain showers possible. Unfortunately not a White Christmas this year in Kentucky. As we peak to the end of the week possible showers and thunderstorms on Thursday with temperatures in the low 60s.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy skies with light rain showers possible all day; high temperature of 45 degrees.
TONIGHT: Expect mostly cloudy skies with light rain showers with a chance of them changing over into a brief rain/snow mix or snow showers. No accumulations expected. Low temperatures for your Friday will be 29 degrees.
