LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have arrested a man they say drove a stolen car drunk and nearly hit a group of children waiting for a school bus.
Early Wednesday morning, police say they were tipped off that 22-year-old Jordan Harris was driving a stolen car.
They began to follow him and they say he drove past a stopped school bus and a group of children, nearly hitting them at 60 miles per hour.
Police say Harris appeared drunk when they stopped him and failed a breathalyzer test.
He is charged with wanton endangerment, DUI, receiving stolen property, and fleeing and evading.
