UPDATE: KSP opens investigation after arrest made in Johnson Co. murder case


OIL SPRINGS, Ky. (WTVQ)- We now know more information about 27-year-old Mandy Lemay, who was found shot to death in a Johnson County home Monday.

State Police say Lemay was reported missing yesterday afternoon. They say her family hadn’t had any contact with her for several days, some even weeks.

Troopers say they arrived at Paul Lemay’s home, where they say he told troopers he had killed Mandy. He was then arrested and taken into custody.

Detectives will be at the scene and in the Oil Springs area for the next few days looking for new details and information on the case.

Autopsy results are pending.

OIL SPRINGS, Ky. (WTVQ) – An arrest is made after a woman is found shot to death in a Johnson County home.

Kentucky State Police say 27-year-old Mandy Lemay, of Oil Springs, was found dead at a home on KY Route 825 Monday.

Police arrested 50-year-old Paul Lemay, of Oil Springs, and charged him with murder.

Police say the case is in the early stages and more details are expected to be released later.
